ELAINE MARY DAVIS - FERRISBURGH - Elaine Mary Davis, 71, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at her home in Ferrisburgh. Elaine was born Sept. 20, 1940, the daughter of Marion Gertrude (Davidson) Chamberlain and Charles Edward Chamberlain in Ferrisburgh. Elaine was known as a loving mother of five children. She was a doting grandmother of her nine grandchildren and great-grandmother of two great-grandchildren. She loved to travel and looked forward to seeing the whole world. Mostly, Elaine was known for her love of Jehovah and was very busy in her preaching work and Bible studies. She is survived by her children, Edward Davis and wife, Cindy, Marion Davis, Darlene Leeds and husband, Ronald, Karen Reynolds and husband, Carl; nine grandchildren, Sonya, Steven, Joseph, Heath, Heather, Charles, Meghan, Shelby, and Hunter; great-granddaughter, Deionna Sprague; great-grandson, Averyin Sprague; siblings, (Charles) Edward Chamberlain and Janet Devoid. Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Donald Robert Davis; son, Ricky Davis; siblings, Phyllis Russell and Betty Kenyon. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Middlebury Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, located on Route 116. The family was assisted by Elmwood-Meunier, Burlington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middlebury Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, or to Addison County Home Health and Hospice.
