Elaine Joan Jackson, 73, Leeward Way, Calabash, NC, formerly of Yorktown Heights, NY died Monday, June 30, 2003 in the Loris Community Hospital. Mrs. Jackson was born on July 25, 1929 in Bronx, NY. She was a daughter of the late Louis and Edna Seligman Ruchti. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Ruchti and a sister, Lydia Ruchti. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald Jackson; two sons, Donald L. Jackson and wife, Donna of Kimberton, PA and Todd Jackson of Poughkeepsie, NY; five grandchildren, Ashley, Victoria, Donald, Daniel and Dionna Jackson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 3 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service on Thursday.
