Obituary of Edna-Higdon Carter

CARTER, EDNA HIGDON "EDDIE", 81 of Rossville, GA passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004. She was a native of Chattanooga and lived in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Astor, Florida before retiring to Rossville in 1985. Mrs. Carter was a member of Hickory Valley Christian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood (Woody) Carter, Sr. Survivors are daughters: Carole Cole, Rock Spring, GA, Layne Hendrickson, Astor, FL; sons: Elwood (Butch) Carter, Jr., Ormond Beach, FL; Don Carter, Wayne Carter, both of Eustis, FL, Neil Carter, Chattanooga, TN; sister: Marie Davis, Rossville, GA; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10AM, Saturday at the Astor Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday at the Funeral Home.
