WILLIAMS,Mrs. Eddie Mae, a resident of Montgomery, AL, expired Thursday, February 28, 2002. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2002 at 12:00 noon from Ebenezer, A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Roosevelt Word officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Annex Cemetery with Phillips-Riley Funeral Home directing. She was a 1964 graduate of George Washington Carver High School. A 1971 graduate of Alabama State University, Bachelor of Science in Education. A Master of Education in 1976 from Alabama State University. She has worked for the Public School System for over 30 years in Selma, Clio and Montgomery, AL. Southlawn Elementary in Montgomery was the last place of her employment for approximately 25 years. She leaves to cherish her memories; son, Carlos, D. (Tracelynn) Williams, Montgomery, AL; daughter, Shameka Williams, Tallahassee, FL; grandson, Mauriel D. Williams; mother, Lorine Pearson; sisters, JoAnn Pearson (Joe) Anderson, Authurene Pearson Stephens, Louise Pearson (Jimmy) Wynan, Tonya Pearson, brothers, Jimmy (Bernice) Pearson, Willie (Young) Pearson, Norman (Margie) Pearson, Leonard Pearson; two aunts, Essie Abner, Alice Scott other sisters-in-law, Lottie Flowers, Ethel Bailey Osborne, other brothers-in-law, Authur Williams; special friends, Adrienne Christburg, Lucille Frazier, Beatrice Higgins and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
