JOHNSON, Earl R., 94, of Dover, passed away July 2, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Mabel; and one son, Raymond Johnson. He is survived by one son, Bobby E. Johnson, and wife, Patricia; one daughter, Kay Blume, and husband, Steve; one daughter-in-law, Connie Johnson; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-laws; two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was a superintendent with the Carpenter' s Union. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Bowles officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
