E. Marie Davis HURLEY - E. Marie Davis, 85 of North Road, Hurley, died Wednesday January 15, 2014 at home. Born October 22, 1928 in Albany, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Inez (Laurson) Gehrean, of Hoosick Falls, NY. Marie graduated from Hoosick Falls High School in 1945. She attended and graduated from the Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing, Troy, NY in 1949. She was a registered nurse for the Samaritan Hospital. For twenty seven years, she was employed at the Kingston Hospital as an operating room nurse until retirement in 1995. She loved to snow and water ski, play tennis, dance and loved her pets. Marie is survived by her daughter, Christine Klonowski and her husband Joe of Hurley; son, Mark E. Davis and his wife Brenda of Fishkill; grandchildren, Jeffrey Lakin, Brian Klonowski, Frank Chismar and William “Bill” Davis; her brother and sister in law, George D. and Helen Davis of Troy; her niece, Linda Larson; her nephews, George D. Davis, III and Thomas Davis. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V.
