CITY OF ATLANTIS - E. Jean Miller, formerly of New Canaan, Ct., passed away quietly on (February 6, 2012). She resided in the City of Atlantis, and spent her summers in Penn Yan, N.Y. at her home on Keuka Lake.Jean will have a private burial at Lakeside Cemetery in Penn Yan, N.Y. Per her request there will be no visitation.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach. Donations may also be made to the Humane Society of Palm Beach County or Penn Yan, N.Y.Jean, as she was known by to family and friends, was actively involved in the social aspects of Atlantis Golf Club, as well as Quail Ridge Country Club, and Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan, N.Y.She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Sweeney. She is also survived by her children Patricia Beattie, James (Lisa) Miller, grandchildren Eric Beattie, Kelsey Miller, and great granddaughter Carlie Beattie.Jean was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Donald B. Miller in 2003.
