ROSS, Douglas William Douglas William Ross of Penticton passed away peacefully October 26, 2006 with his wife by his side. Douglas is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Betty; six children, Bob (Nita) of Calgary, Donna (Bob) of Calgary, Sharon (Clint) of Calgary, Cathy (Dave) of Toronto, Brian (Barbara) of Calgary, and Heather (Blair) of Vancouver; nine grandchildren, Christie, Michelle, Erin, Karly, Britton, Ryan, Ruby, Samantha and Connor. Doug had a long career in the Alberta Oil Industry and then owned a motel in Penticton for several years. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held in Calgary at a later date.
