May 7, 1960 - passed away unexpectedly October 10, 2011.Doug was raised on Quadra Island and lived mostly in the Campbell River area. He was a logger and commercial fisherman who enjoyed recreational fishing, the outdoors and sports. He was a fun loving father and grandfather who was very thoughtful and giving. He is survived by his daughter Michelle (Chad), 2 granddaughters Alexis and Emma, partner Verna (Jake, Harry), Mom and Dad, Betty and Wayne Anderson, sister Deb (Blair), brother Frank (Linda), nieces Lindsay and Kelsey, nephews Vaughn and Jeremy and many aunts, uncles and cousins.Services will be held October 22, 2011 at 1:00pm at the Salvation Army, 291 McLean St., Campbell River, B.C.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army in memory of Doug would be greatly appreciated.
