C., he was the son of the late Ralph Oneal and Mattie Louise Cathey Kelly.Doug was a graduate of the University of North Carolina where he was a Morehead Scholar. He later served in the U. S. Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict and received three Distinguished Flying Crosses. He retired from the Air National Guard a Lieutenant Colonel and continued his career as a stockbroker with Smith Barney Investments and retired there as Senior Vice President. He was currently President of Greenville Jet Sales.Doug was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church.He previously served on the Board of Trustees of Limestone College and was a past Chairman of the Greenville Downtown Airport Commission and volunteered with numerous community charities.He was a member and Past President of the St. Andrews Society of Upper South Carolina, serving from 2008-2009.Surviving are his wife Jackie Highley ; one son, Douglas Neal Kelly, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Greenville, one grandson, Douglas Neal Kelly, III (Tripp), and Abby (his Brittany Spaniel).Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 3 P.M. at Fourth Presbyterian Church.Memorials may be made to Fourth Presbyterian Church, 703 E. Washington St., Greenville 29601 or to the Heritage Fund of St. Andrews Society of Upper South Carolina, PO Box 5221, Greenville, SC 29606.
