Douglas Henry Wallace, 75, Dover, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at Henry Co. Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Earl Claud officiating. Burial will be in Crow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm today and from 9-11 am Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wallace was born in Bumpus Mills on August 8, 1934 to late Iva and Eunice Walker Wallace. He is retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell, KY and was member of the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Elkins Wallace, son Kevin Wallace Dover, daughter Kim Staines Huntsville, AL, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, one brother Cecil Wallace Clarksville, TN, two sisters Larue Woodall, Dalton, GA, Katy Luton Dover, TN. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Carl and Gray Wallace. Pallbearer will be King Page, Roger Sills, Dan, Bret, David Carl Wallace, Charles Compton.
