ANDERSON, Douglas James May 26, 1966 Sept. 10, 2008 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear husband, son and brother. Doug was born in Edmonton, attended school in Summerland and Victoria, then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC. For the past decade, Doug was an Oceanographic Technician at the Institute of Ocean Sciences. A warm, gentle and kind spirit, Doug will be remembered for his quiet ways and delightful sense of humour. He was gone too soon. Doug leaves to mourn, his wife Sue; his daughter Veronica; his mother Lona Peacock, and her husband Jim; his father Lloyd and brother Ken. Doug spent many summers with his maternal grandparents who have predeceased him, but he leaves aunts Gail Baker and Lanis McClarty, 8 cousins and extended family members. Friends of Doug and his family are cordially invited to a Memorial Tea to be held in the Garden Room at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Drive in Victoria on Friday, September 19 at 2:00 pm.
