Dorothy Cox Williams of Franklin, Ind. passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 in Franklin, Ind. She was 76. Born on April 15, 1937 in Dry Creek (Casey County), she was the daughter of the late Fletcher and Mayme Glover Cox. She married Clyde Earl "Sonny" Williams on Aug. 14, 1954. He preceded her in passing on May 17, 1994. Dorothy attended school at Franklin High School. She was employed for several years at Arvin Industries in Franklin. She later was employed for many years as a cook at Greenwood Village South. She enjoyed canning, spending time with her family and going to the casino. She is survived by her companion, Phillip Ennis; children, Bob (and Margaret) Williams, Rick (and Marsha) Williams, Ann (and Darryl) Weeks, Leslie Williams, Teresa (and Gary) Cooper and Junior (and Terry) Williams; grandchildren, Chris Williams, Chad (and Tennille) Williams, Abby Williams, Shawn Williams, Jennifer Williams, Dustin (and Amy) Weeks, Craig Weeks;, Elizabeth Williams, Michael Williams, Zach Cooper, Sophie Cooper, Angel Williams, Kyle Williams, Andy Hayes and Nick Hayes; and great-grandchildren, Hailey Williams, Tyler Williams, Saphaina Williams, Holden Williams, Carly Burtrum, Joshln Burtrum and Madison Britt; a brother, Delmer (and Linda) Cox; and a sister, Lucille (and David) Coffman. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Sonny; a grandson, Ricky Williams Jr.; two sisters, Pauline Dailey and Louise Parkerson; and a brother, Earl Cox. A celebration of Dorothy's life was Aug. 24 at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin, Ind. Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
