Dorothy Virginia Moore Dorothy Virginia Moore, 86, died Monday, April 21, 2003. Private services will be held. Fairchild Burial & Cremation Services (386-8686) is handling arrangements. A native of Flushing, Long Island, N.Y., she had lived in Tallahassee since February 2002.She was a cosmetologist for 40 years and owned and operated a beauty shop in the Langford Hotel in Winter Park for many years. She retired and became a certified nurse assistant, working with homebound patients. She is survived by a son, David J. Moore (and wife Patricia) of Tallahassee; a brother, William Young of Forest City; four grandchildren, Erik Moore and Glenn Moore, both of Atlanta, Laura Burley of Jonesboro, Ark., and Wayne Moore of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and four great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by three husbands, Carl Moore, Forest Douglas and Donald McEwen Sr.
