OAKLAND -- Dorothy T. Jordan, 89, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Somerset Rehabilitation and Living Center in Bingham.She was born in Waterville on Aug. 8, 1921, the daughter of Francis and Ermina (Sawtelle) Thwing.Dot graduated from Williams High School, class of 1939, and attended Nasson College. She married Lawrence (Joe) Jordan on Aug. 10, 1940, who died Aug. 12, 2004.She was an active member of the All Souls Universalist Church and the Acme Rebekah Lodge 75 in Oakland.Surviving are three daughters, Joyce DcDeo of California, Pamela Elliott of Oakland and Jan Howe of Waterville; six grandchildren, Katrina Elliott, Chris and Matt DeDeo and Kecia, Heath, and Ben Howe; and six great-grandchildren.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, at Lewis Cemetery, Cottle Road, Oakland.
