Dorothy Smith LeeDoraDorothy Smith Lee, 84, of Dora went to be with her Lord in the morning of Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was born on June 5, 1928, to Walker W. and Pauline Smith in Decatur. She was united in marriage to William "Bill" Bean Lee on July 4, 1946. They were blessed with two children, DeRenda Jo and William Stephen.She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William "Bill" Bean Lee; daughter, DeRenda Jo (James); son, William Steve (Cheryl); five grandchildren, Jeff (Gina) Anderson, Craig (Tina) Anderson, John Mark (Lori) Anderson, Chad Lee, Michael (Kelli); nine great-grandchildren, Joel, Josh, Dustin (Mary), Nathan, Caleb Lee, Haley, Heather, Erin, Bryan; and one great-great-granddaughter, Brooklin.Funeral service will be Thursday, May 30, 2013, at noon at Bethel Baptist Church in Dora with Rev. David Lowery and Rev. John Foles officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will be in New Horizon Memorial Gardens in Dora.Pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Joel Anderson, Josh Anderson, Dustin Anderson, Caleb Lee Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Bryan Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Julian, Louis Oliver, J.W. Whitlow, Jack Townsend.
