Dorothy G. Age 96 passed away Monday, November 19, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Dorothy was born in Gillett, Pennsylvania daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Hakes) Avery. She retired from Remington Rand after several years of service. Survivors include grandson, Robert (Donna) Peterson Jr. of Rochester, NY; great-grandchildren, Jason (Melanie) Peterson of Surprise, AZ, John (Kathleen) Peterson of Towanda, NY, Robert P. Peterson of Niagara, NY and Amanda Peterson of Rochester, NY. Son, Robert and sister, Margaret, predeceased Dorothy. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, November 28, 2001 from 11 to 1 PM at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 1PM with Reverend John Bedzyk officiating. Interment will follow in Gillett Cemetery, Gillett, PA.
