Dorothy P. MurphyDorothy Pauline Murphy, born April 20, 1928, age 85, of Cherokee, died Friday, March 7, 2014. Visitation will be today, 6-8 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. Her funeral service will be Sunday, 2 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Jonathan Handley and Shane Swinney officiating. Burial will follow in Mynot Cemetery.Mrs. Murphy was a member of Asphalt Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H.
