ALLEN Dorothy Notter Allen, 95, passed away October 13, 2002. She was born in Alexandria, Indiana and moved to Jacksonville with her family at an early age where she attended local schools including old Duval High School. She was a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston and a past member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Jacksonville where she was a former reader. She is survived by a son, Everett B. Wilsie (Patsy); a daughter, Jean Cartwright (James); six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, 11:00 AM Friday, October 18, 2002, with Mr. David Benson officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd.
