Obituary of Dorothy-Nay Carter

CARTER, DOROTHY NAY, 97 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Episcopal Church Home. She was the Executive Secretary of the Kentucky Federation of Women's Clubs from 1954 until her retirement in 1970. She was a long time member of Calvary Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Dennie Carter. She is survived by nieces; Fayette Block Watkis, Malu Block, Margaret Hickey French and nephew Benjamin F. Nay III. The funeral will be 5 p.m. Monday at Ratterman's 3711 Lexington Road with burial in Vine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. Monday.
