January 20, 2006 Dorothy "Dottie" Murphy, 87, of Liverpool, passed away Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Eastwood High School. She worked for General Motors, a buyer for ladies' apparel in Florida, and was a member of the Moose Club of Syracuse. Dottie is predeceased by her first husband, Edward L. Pelletier, 1956, and her second husband, Thomas H. Murphy, 1984. Dottie is survived by her daughter, Katherine Pelletier; a son, Thomas Pelletier; one granddaughter, Lori Wilkins; and one great-granddaughter, Madison. Services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Fiends may visit with her family on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street. Contributions may be made to the SPCA.
