Funeral for Dorothy Morrison, 73, of Lacey’s Spring will be Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Legg and Ricky Browning officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Valhermoso Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Morrison died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at her residence. She was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Michigan to Alfred Rensema and Helen Meisen Rensema. She was retired as store manager of AAFES. She was a member of Valhermoso Baptist Church. Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Morrison Sr.Survivors include one son, Edward R. Morrison Jr. of Winder, Ga.; two daughters, Sandra Simpson of Byhalia, Miss. and Mary Montgomery of Lacey’s Spring; one sister, Margaret Comstock of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jerry Case, Roger Campbell, Jim Wood, Bobby Scott, Jimmy Scott and John Vile.
