PACOLET, SC -->Dorothy McDonald PACOLET, SC-- Dorothy 'Dot' Robertson McDonald, 80, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born June 26, 1934 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James Fred Robertson and Grace Pruitt. A beloved wife of Lloyd J. McDonald, married 62 years. They were married on August 22, 1952. Dot was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and sister. She was also a member of the Laurens Second Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd J. McDonald; daughters, Freddie McDonald Adcock and Teri McDonald; grandchildren, Nashua S. Celata, Scott Melton, Tamlin McDonald, Arya Ahmadivarji, Jana McDonald; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Syndey Celata, Silas, Naomi, and Sawyer McDonald, Maddox Ahmadivarji, Jack and Issac Melton, sisters Peggy Cariens, Brenda Lynch, and Florence Sparks. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Rodney and grandson, Geoffery Melton A cryptside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, August 25, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev.
