McDONALD, Dorothy McLaughlin "Mimi" 104, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Carrington Place. She was born in Yonkers, NY on Aug. 12, 1904. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church since her arrival in St. Petersburg in 1938. She was a buyer for Wilson Chase Department Store in St. Petersburg and later The Petite Gift Shop in Northeast Shopping Center. She enjoyed art classes, Bingo, and musical entertainment. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports on television. She was preceded in death by her son, J.W. "Jack" McDonald. She is survived by her son, William "Bo" McDonald; daughter-in-law, Nancy McDonald; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, from 5-7 pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 11 am at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1800-12th St. N. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
