Obituary of Dorothy-Maxine-Perry Hardin


SIMPSONVILLE HARDIN, DOROTHY MAXINE PERRY, 86, died September 9, 2009 at her residence in Simpsonville. She was a member of Fisherville Baptist Church, the Fairdale Chapter #560 member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cave S. Hardin; parents, Elmo and Lydia Perry; sister, Georgia Perry; two brothers, Charles Edward "Pete" Perry and William Stewart "Tub" Perry; and a great-grandchild, Sonny Patrick. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Hockenbury, of Simpsonville, LaVerne Sanford (Ronnie), of Shelbyville, and Anna Ruth Seadler (Mike), of Louisville; two sons, Carl B. Perry (Valetta), of Graefenburg and Cecil Hardin Sr. (Lottie), of Louisville; two sisters, Pauline Travis, of Shelbyville and Marie "Hank" Bramblett, of Bagdad; brother, Ralph B. Perry, of Bagdad; and two sisters-in-law, Virginia "Peanut" Perry, of Shelbyville and Phyllis Perry, of Bagdad; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial is in Grove Hill Cemetery.
