Obituary of Dorothy-Marie-Jenkins Johnson


Jacksonville - Funeral services for Dorothy Marie Jenkins Johnson, 53, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the Webster's Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob McLeod officiating. Burial will be in the Siebers Cemetery. The family will receive friends at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center from 5-7 this evening. Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Jones, of Jacksonville; her mother, Joyce M. Jenkins, of Jacksonville; three sisters, Paula Wall, of Gadsden; Cynthia Lowman and her husband, Bobby and Cheryl Christopher and her husband, Lee, both of Jacksonville; two brothers, Marvin Jenkins and his wife, Diane, of Attalla and E. Lynn Jenkins, of Gadsden; ten nieces and ten nephews. Pallbearers will be Bobby Lowman, Lee Christopher, Kevin Cross, Kaleb Cross, Kevin Malsy, Jeff Burns, Jeff Jenkins and Tony Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Jones and Andrew Jenkins. Mrs. Johnson attended Webster's Chapel Baptist Church and was employed with Jacksonville State University. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Johnson and her father, Paul L. Jenkins. Online condolences may be to the family at: www.klbrownfuneralhome.com.
