Obituary of Dorothy-Mae Erickson


DOROTHY MAE ERICKSON JUNE 9, 1925 - FEBRUARY 12, 2010 Dorothy Mae Erickson, loving sister of Pat Butcher and Jerry Parker, went to her Heavenly Home on February 12, 2010. Dorothy was born on June 9, 1925 in Buckner, Arkansas. She was the fifth child of ten born to Paul William Parker and Ollie Massey Parker. She was a real estate broker in Bullhead City, Arizona for many years and owned Erickson Realty. After retiring, Dorothy enjoyed traveling, golfing and spending time with friends and family. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Patsy P. Butcher, of Milton, FL; her brother, Kenneth Jerry Parker and wife, Peggy, of Magnolia, AR; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Dr. David Spencer officiating and music by Rev. Kenneth Martin. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Hospice, 5907 Berryhill Road, Milton, FL 32570. Pallbearers will be Scott Butcher, Matt Gleason, James Duren, Mike Duren, Johnny Duren, and Tyler Jenkins. Special thanks to Covenant Hospice, Mary Patterson and Sheryl Wood.
