March 10, 2005 Dorothy M. Hopper, 89, of Syracuse, died Thursday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. She was born in Ogdensburg and moved to the Syracuse area in 1940. Dorothy was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and one of the orig-inal members of the Senior Group. She wrote a weekly newsletter article in the Radisson News. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Earl A. Hopper in 1979. Survivors: two daughters, Ruth A. (James) Lauber of Solvay and Rita L. (Robert) Edwards of Baldwinsville; a son, Robert E. (Shirley) Hopper of West Monroe; two sisters, Pauline Williams of Syracuse and Jean Augliano of Black River; two brothers, Robert Kiah of Clayton and Harold Kiah of N. Syracuse; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Route 31, Baldwinsville. Spring burial in West Monroe Cemetery.
