Anderson, Dorothy M. SPEIGLETOWN Dorothy M. Anderson, 79, formerly of Speigletown, where she had resided for over 55 years, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian Sears Golden and widow of Ernest R. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker all her life and was a former member of Speigletown Woman's Auxiliary, St. Bonaventure's Bowling League and Hilltop Coffee and Donut League; also the M. Ross Guild of First Presbyterian Church. Survived by four children, Sharon (Mark Jones) Angus of Raymertown, Ernest (Sandra) Anderson of Waterford, William (Patricia) Anderson and June (Thomas) Goyette, both of Speigletown; sister of Carol (Philip) Riley of Waterford and the late Alice Bashford, Frederick and Robert Golden; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special "thank You" to staff of 2-Schodack of Evergreen Commons for their kind and loving care and also the volunteers of Palative Care for their kindness during a difficult time. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 Second Ave. (at 104th St.), Troy with Rev. Stephen L. Cordes officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery.
