Dorothy Luke Murphy THOMASVILLE - Dorothy Luke Murphy, 85, who retired from Riverside Manufacturing Co. and Warners, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002. She is survived by her husband, John Davie "Buddy" Murphy. The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie, Ga. (229-985-3704), with burial at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Murphy is the daughter of the late Everett Eugene Luke Sr. and Annie White Luke. She is formerly of Moultrie. Other survivors include two daughters, Sybil M. Wills (and husband Joel) of Tallahassee and Gwendolyn Wachtel (and husband Steve) of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Kathryn Lynn Underwood of Tallahassee and Jonathan Murphy Wachtel and Todd Leonard Wachtel, both of Memphis; two brothers, Willie D. Luke and Everett Eugene Luke Jr.; and a sister, Mavel Luke Murphy.
