ObituaryDorothy L. Dixon, 74, of Fort Myers, FL died on Thursday, April 19, 2001. She was born in Live Oak, Florida, the daughter of Alex and Viola Shaw who preceded her in death. Dorothy attended schools in Live Oak, Clearwater, FL and Morehouse School of Cosmetology in Atlanta, GA. Dorothy moved to Ft. Myers, met and married McDonald Dixon. She was a member of Palmetto Ave. Church of Christ. She leaves to cherish, her loving husband, McDonald, of 49 years. Also, two sisters-in-law, Virginia Walker of Labelle, FL and Evelyn McBride of Fort Myers, FL; nieces, Kim Watts, Amenda McBride, Anna McBride and Marilyn McBride, Rita Thomas; Keile Clayton and wife, Doretha; cousins with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, 11 am - 1 pm with funeral services following at 1:00 pm at the Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home.
