BLYTHE, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Louise Anderson, affectionately known as (Granny), entered into rest on September 9, 2008, Keysville Nursing Home, Keysville, Ga. at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mugar (Cooter) Anderson and her beloved mother Mintie S. Banks. Dorothy (Granny) was a resident of Blythe Ga. for 31 years and was a member of Blythe Baptist Church where she taught the Adult Sunday school class for 29 years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 11th at DeLoach Funeral Home, Hephzibah, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 12th at Blythe Baptist Church, Blythe Ga. with Reverend Richard Dendler and Reverend Roy "Buddy" Frierson, Jr. officiating. Interment services will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, Ga.. Active pallbearers are Cliff Chancey, Jr., Jerry Newman, Ken Bowman, Brett Chancey, Larry Newman, and Lee Newman. Honorary pallbearers are Cal Newman, James Gray, Bobby Perkins, Sr., and Arvil Holt. Mrs. Anderson will lie in state one hour prior to the service. She leaves to cherish her memories to three daughters and three son-in laws; Jean and Billy Greiner and Anita and Kenneth Allen, Blythe Ga.; Patricia and Richard Kelsey, Augusta, Ga.; grand- daughters, Denise Greiner, Greenville, SC; Dorothy and John Taylor, Blythe, Ga.; Angel and Dave Wall, Augusta, Ga.; Dayna Kelsey, Aiken, SC; grandsons, Keith and Pamela Greiner, Evans, Ga.; Craig and Debra Greiner and Matt and Pam Greiner, Atlanta, Ga., Wayne and Michelle Allen, Martinez, Ga., Leonard and Nisla Allen and Roy (Bobie) and Minin Allen, Blythe, Ga.; 14 great grand children; two sisters, Joyce and George Perkins and Shirley Newman, Augusta, Ga.
