LINDSAY _ Dorothy Rose Dorothy Rose Lindsay is gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, early on April 30, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Dorothy shared her life with Darrell in Christian ministry with the Church of God since 1941 in Ontario, western Canada and in India. Many special years were spent with the International Bible College in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Dorothy's greatest joys in life were spending time with her family, gardening and serving her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her gentle, loving spirit will be remembered by all. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Reverend Darrell L. Lindsay; her children Darlene (Dave) Funk, Beth (Reuben) Rempel, Marian (Randy) Aspinall, Dorothy (Robert) Craft; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as her "special children" Janet Fredericks of Windsor, ON and Gordon Southwell of Calgary. She was predeceased by daughter Sandra Hay, parents John and Lily Snook, sister Lillian and brother Bob. Dorothy's family would like to express their appreciation to all the medical staff at the Foothills Hospital who cared for her over the last eight weeks and also to everyone who showed great kindness and prayers for her. Viewing will take place on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Centre Street Church (3900 - 2 Street N.E.) Calgary at 7:00 p.m. in the Maranatha Room. Private family Interment will take place at the Eden Brook Cemetery on Tuesday, May 6. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Centre Street Church, Calgary.
