Dorothy-Lily-Alma McDonald, died. Please consult the obituary here:
When I come to the end of the roadAnd the sun has set for meI want no tears in a gloom-filled roomWhy cry for a soul set free?Miss me a little but not for longAnd not with your head bowed lowRemember the love that we once sharedMiss me, but let me go.June 28, 1922 to June 29, 2011It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy affectionately known as "Louie" and in Nanaimo as "the deer lady".We want to thank her for everything she has ever done for us and her unconditional love. She leaves behind a daughter - Linnea McDonald, her granddaughter Chambly, and her great grandson Adam. She devoted a lot of her life to animal rights. She was married to David "Smokey" McDonald in 1943 who passed away in 2005.Today they are together again (with all their dogs). We love you both and miss you dearly . There will be no service as per Dorothy's request.Love Linnea, Chambly and Adam.
