BURNHAM, Dorothy Kate. Peacefully at Carleton Place on Sunday, October 24th, 2004, Dorothy Kate (Macdonald) Burnham (recipient of the Order of Canada), Diplome d'honneur and Honourary Doctorate from Trent University; long time associate with the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto and the Museum of Civilization, Ottawa) in her 93rd year. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Harold B. Burnham, infant son Harold and her brother and sister. She will be sadly missed by her son Mark and his wife Dawn Burnham of Maberly, Eva Burnham of Montreal and son Jim Burnham of Toronto. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 6th 2004 in St. Alban's Anglican Church, Maberly at 12 noon. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Dorothy's memory are asked to consider the Perth & District Union Library or St. Alban's Anglican Church, Maberly.
