Dorothy Burhans Johnson, 92, formerly of Croton on Hudson died January 1, 2008. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, moved to Florida in 1980. She retired as assistant librarian at Croton Free Library. Dorothy was a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. Survivors are her daughter, Joan King; son, James Burhans; step children, Alan Johnson and Ingrid Regan; grandchildren, Karen Flegar, Scott Chamberlain and Stacey Burhans; and seven great grandchildren. Services will be on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 11am at Asbury Methodist Church, Old Post Road South, Croton on Hudson, New York. Donations in her memory may be made to Asbury Methodist Church.
