February 17, 2008 Dorothy I. Johnson, 82, of DeRuyter , passed away Sunday. She was born in Norwich and was a print setter at Syracuse China, as well as a homemaker. Dorothy was a 50-year member of the Woodford Burdick Post #894 American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Rebekas, and a member of the United Church of DeRuyter. surviving: her husband, Charles of DeRuyter; daughters, Sharon (David) Gaudio of Chittenango and Karen (David) Crandall of Georgetown; sons, Charles (Joyce) Jr. of Burlington Flats and Bryan (Sally) of Grand Island; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Thomas and daughter, Frances Willitts. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, DeRuyter.
