HORN, Dorothy (nee Hartley) With sadness, the family announces Dorothy's passing on August 15, 2006 at London Health Science Centre at the age of 81. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Wally, sister Peggy Murphy, and brothers Arthur and George. She is survived by her loving children Wendy Horn, Philip Horn (Darlene), and Arthur Horn (Joan Berman); grandchildren Sarah, Tracy, Scott, Melissa, Adam, and David; great-grandchildren Max, Brandon, and Cassaundra; brother Harry (Hazel), sister Joyce Johnson as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends especially her bridge club. Over her long life Dorothy enjoyed working in her family businesses (including the Riverside News and Little Falls Cottages, her Florida escapes, cooking, laughing, and trying to tell a certain joke she just could not finish. She was a volunteer at Windsor Regional Hospital (Metropolitan). Dorothy's life was made richer and more fulfilled by the constant, loving companionship of daughter Wendy. In keeping with Dorothy's request, cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (519) 253-7234. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be shared at a Memorial Tea after the 10:30 a.m. service at Riverside United Church on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
