King Manufacturing Retiree HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Holton Smith, age 81, of Hephzibah died Sunday, June 1, 2003, in the Medical College of Georgia Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in the Josey Baptist Church near Bartow. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Donald C. Prosser will officiate. Mrs. Smith was a native of Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Miller D. Holton and the late Kate Lee Watkins Holton. She was retired from the John P. King Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jordan Smith Sr. and son, Larry Allen Smith Sr. Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Lynette Wooldwridge of Battleground, Wash., Georgianne Bailey of Hephzibah and Sheila Renee Littleton of Augusta; three sons, Henry J. Smith Jr. of Decatur, Milton Lewis Smith of Appling, and Samuel Dean Smith of Augusta; a sister, Mary Lou Arrington of Augusta; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
