Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Dorothy Henley Coley, 84, of Glencoe, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. The Rev. Randall Crotts will officiate. Burial will follow at Hepzibah Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home is in charge.Mrs. Coley was a member of Glencoe Bible Methodist Church and previously a member for 27 years of Hepzibah Baptist Church, Talladega. She was a native of Talladega County but lived most of her life in Etowah County.She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Fayne Eugene Coley; parents, Carl and Lura Henley; and her sister, Ellen Kearnes.She is survived by her four loving daughters, Charlotte (Willie) Maise, Sherian (Leonard) Kiser, Lynda (Art) Riley and Sheila (Scott) Blackstone; loving grandchildren, Gina (Scott) Speagle, Amanda Maise, Lia (Ellis) Bullock, Brandi (Billy) Smith, Brittany (Michael) Gilley, Kaci Blackstone, Allie Blackstone and Chase Blackstone; loving great-grandchildren, Sydney Speagle, Grant Speagle, Sawyer Speagle, Coley Bullock and Brenley Gilley; sister, Anne Merkl; and sisters-in-law, Doris Walker and Ertis Ponder; and many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be family and friends.Special thanks to Wiregrass Hospice and her loyal and loving caregivers, Kathy Dennis and her daughter, Kelly.
