Winter Haven HospitalWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Dorothy M. Groover of Winter Haven died of heart failure Monday (Feb. 20, 2006) in Haines City. She was 89.She was born in Bartow on July 28, 1916. She was a supervisor at Winter Haven Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Inwood Baptist Church.Mrs. Groover was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Groover. She is survived by her sons, Charles Groover, Winter Garden, Kenneth Groover, Lincoln, Calif., Gilbert Groover, DeLand; sister, Virginia Groover, Winter Haven; five grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren.Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Orlando.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
