DIXON (Flair), Dorothy Gladys, "Granny", "Granny Dot"Age 70, passed away on October 30, 2011. She was born January 29, 1941 to the late Emmett Flair Sr. & Florence (Blunkall) Flair. Preceded in death by grandson, Michael Paul Dixon. She is survived by her daughters, Florence (Tim) Keller, Roberta (Brian) Shook, and her son, Michael (Vanessa) Dixon; grandchildren, Brandee (John) Garrison, Brandone Lewis, Dallas (Lauren) Lewis, Daniel (Carrie) Keller, Devin Keller, Matthew Shook, Eric Shook, Justin Dixon, Trevor Dixon; great-grandchildren, Avriana Lewis, John and Madee Garrison, Caylie Keller. Also survived by her brothers, George Flair, Emmett Flair, Ira (Wanda) Flair, Wayne (Regina) Flair. She was a Supervisor at the Main Post Office in Nashville, TN. Dot retired from the United States Postal Service in 1993. Her retirement years were devoted to her flower gardens, grandchildren and great-grandchildren - whom she loved dearly. Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 1 p.m., with visitation Wednesday from 1 - 8 p.m., and Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
