Dorothy G. (Brogan) Murphy, age 97, formerly of North Weymouth, died at home in Orlando, FL. Jan. 7, 2011. Widow of the late Maurice Pat Murphy; she is survived by her daughter Barbara Howe and son-in-law Jerry Howe of Orlando; granddaughters Amy Desrosiers of Orlando and Renee Hicks of AZ; great- granddaughters Samantha and Kaitlyn Hicks of AZ and nephews Gregg Reilly of Scituate and Dick Reilly of CO. Retired from Quincy Typewriter, she enjoyed world travel, sewing, cooking, opera, reading mysteries and playing bridge. She was active with the Weymouth Seniors and the Newcomers Club.
