ObituaryDorothy Euphemia Murphy, 80 of Lehigh Acres, died Wednesday, October 23, 2002, at Lehigh Acres, Florida. A native of Cumberland, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Murphy came to this area in 1959. She had been a Registered Nurse and an Army Veteran of WWII. Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband Jack B. Murphy. Survivors include her step-son, Tim (Patti) Murphy of North Fort Myers; her daughters, Lynn (John) Hawkins of Alva, Marsha Joyce (James) Newton of North Fort Myers; her sister, Velma Waine of Nemacolin, PA; her brother, Charles Crockard of Rices Landing, PA; her three grandchildren, Danny (Kim) Perkins, Misty (Mike) St. Pierre, Richard (Amy) Hawkins; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Friday, October 25, 2002 in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Chuck Wester of Hope Hospice officiating, committal services and burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon Friday, October 25, 2002 in the Anderson Funeral Home of Lehigh acres, 2701 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres.
