Dorothy Estelle Owens, 79, Bradenton, died June 29, 2006, at Blake Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1926, in New Bedford, Mass., and came to Bradenton in 2004 from Auburndale. She was a loan officer. Survivors include daughters Ariene Byrne of Holmes Beach and Christine Dimitrijevich of Tampa; a son, Eugene Shuler of St. Petersburg; a sister, Eunice Parsona of Mattapoisett, Mass.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
