AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Lee Dot Erickson widow of Mr. Clyde V. Erickson peacefully entered into eternal rest Monday, October 6, 2014 at Doctors Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 3PM Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the Lumpkin Rd. Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Bobby Coleman officiating. Burial immediately following at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Mrs. Erickson was born in Lancaster, SC but lived in Augusta, GA most of her life. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a devoted member of the FOE for over 30 years. She was an avid bingo player and loved to dance. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. She has finished her journey and now at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Julia and Leroy Jordan, brother Charles Jordan, son Michael Murphey and grand-daughter Shannon Howell. Survivors include her daughters and a son-in-law, Vivian Irwin, Lenora Bailiff, and Deborah and Brian Campbell all of Augusta; one brother James Jordan of Huntington Beach, CA along with 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and multiple great-great grandchildren. Pallbear ers will be grandchildren and friends.
