Dorothy Elizabeth Herrin Sparks, 73, widow of Keith Ming Sparks Sr., of 906 Florence St., died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002. Born in Greer, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Lewis and Myrtle Elizabeth Jones Herrin. Survivors: A daughter, Phyllis Phillips, of Gaffney; a son, Keith Ming Sparks Jr., of Gaffney; brothers, Ted, Jerry, Jimmy and Joe Herrin, all of Gaffney; and two grandchildren. Predeceased: A brother, H.L. Herrin. Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Frederick Memorial Gardens.
