Dorothy Elizabeth Anderson, 87, of Lynn, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 15, 2011 at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital, Winchester. She was born January 14, 1924 in Winchester to Blondon and Myrtle (Hoggett) Anderson. She was a graduate of Huntsville School. Dorothy retired from the US Postal Service, having worked most of her career at the Parker City branch. She enjoyed spending her leisure time reading, gardening and many others too numerous to mention. She had a personality that anyone could love.She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Michael J. Anderson of Lynn; two granddaughters, Casey Culberson (husband, Clinton) of Nashville, Tenn., and Valerie McKim (husband, Matthew) of Carmel.A memorial service was privately held by the family.
