BUTTON, Dorothy (Ella) Elenor (nee McDonald) Peacefully at the Robertson House on Tuesday, September 7, 1999 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Oxley Button. Loving mother of Donald Button (Lois), Byron Button (Barbara) and Jean Elliot (Ralph). Also fondly loved by her grandchildren Lawrence Button (Lise), Nancy Zylstra (Gus) and Robert Button (Shelly); Hal Button (Constance), David Button (Gene), Jim Button (Tracey), Pat Button (Kathy); Elisa Shine (Spring) and Jodi Elliot and her great-grandchildren Lisa Button; Awna Zylstra; Shawna and Ryan Button; Kyle Button; Jillian, Patrick, Jessica Button; and Jack Button; Dawn and Naia Shine. Also survived by two sisters Lois Brown and Laura Dimock. Predeceased by brothers Earl, Hubert and Edward and sisters Jean Hunter and Sadie Hammond. Friends may visit the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Thursday, September 9, 1999 from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at the Capital Memorial Gardens.
