ObituaryDorothy E. Smith, of Fort Myers, died Friday, September 14, 2001. Mrs. Smith was born in New York City and moved to Fort Myers from Syracuse, NY in 1976. Dorothy was a graduate with a masters degree in music education from the College of Fine Arts. She was a teacher of music in the public schools of Weedsport, Lyncourt and Syracuse, NY. Mrs. Smith was a member of Temple Society of Concord, Syracuse University, Alumnae Club, Civic Moring Musical Auxiliary, Continental Women's Club, Fort Myers Symphony Women, Calusa Musicale, Fort Myers Music Teachers Associations, and the Myerlee Country Club. Dorothy is survived by her Loving nieces, Barbara (Tom) of Wall Township, NJ, Christine Snyder of Spring Lake, NJ, 2 Great nieces and 2 Great-great nieces. Her family will receive friends at Kiser Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Resurrection Wednesday at 10:00 AM with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.Kiser Funeral Home481-4341
